The Confucius Institute at UCSC is fruit of a collaboration between Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and its partner in China, Beijing Language and Culture University, working together with the support of the Chinese Ministry of Education through Hanban/Confucius Institute Headquarters.

The mission of the CI at UCSC is to encourage understanding between the Chinese and Italian cultures and to this end the Institute promotes activities, events and projects which spread the knowledge of Chinese language and culture in the Milan area and in Italy in general.
